Human‑in‑the‑loop gates. Require review at defined risk points (customer‑facing content, pricing, contracts).
Human delegation patterns. Define whether AI drafts and humans edit, or humans draft and AI edits—and don’t mix patterns in the same flow.
Evaluation beyond accuracy. Track factuality, safety, tone/brand fit, bias, readability, and “effort to correct” (minutes).
Bias & fairness checks. Test outputs across demographics/locales; include local reviewers; document mitigations and residual risks.
Legal & compliance checkpoints. Embed reviews for IP, consent, data residency, and sector rules (e.g., GDPR/HIPAA/FINRA) in the workflow.
Evaluation harness. Track quality with golden datasets; A/B workflow changes; set SLOs for latency/cost.
Training & enablement. Teach teams prompt patterns, failure modes, red‑flag scenarios, and when to escalate to experts.
ROI instrumentation. Attribute hours saved, cycle‑time deltas, revenue lift, and error‑rate changes—mirroring how leading enterprises now measure GenAI impact.
