Remarkablism - Where Work-Life Culture Starts
Our team being Remarkable and reaching new heights.
We all want to be the best version of ourselves, both at work and at home. But, how do we do this? One of the best ways to get on the path of being our best selves is to focus on Remarkablism ™, a guiding principle developed by Turnkey Processing founder, Steven Martorelli.
Remarkablism ™ has become a pillar of the Turnkey Processing company and is one that we hold in high regard because of the transformative power it holds. Remarkablism ™ is a way of life that can help with both personal and professional growth. As we explore the topic of Remarkablism ™ , we will examine its application to work-life culture and discuss strategies for achieving it in your personal and professional life.
What is Remarkablism?
Remarkablism ™, as coined by our founder, is the never-ending cycle of self-discovery and purposeful growth. To put it simply, Remarkablism ™ is about being the best you. Many people rate their success by comparing themselves to others, how much money they have, or how many material possessions they own. Being successful should not revolve around any of these things; rather, it should be based on your personal growth. This personal growth can lead to happiness and success, and help you find the best version of yourself. This is the true meaning of success.
One of the main things to remember about Remarkablism ™ is that it is never-ending. There are always new ways to grow physically, mentally, and spiritually. Once you climb one mountain, there is another one waiting for you. As you become more aware of how to grow, you will see that Remarkablism ™ is not only within reach, but can also help you live a more fulfilled life.
You can’t expect to practice Remarkablism ™ without understanding how each aspect plays into your daily life.
Spiritual Aspect of Remarkablism ™
When we talk about the spiritual aspect of Remarkablism ™ and the ways you can grow spiritually, we’re talking about the values that make you, you. What’s most important to you? Where do you want to go with your life? If you reach one goal, what’s the next ?
Physical Aspect of Remarkablism ™
To achieve Remarkablism ™, you need to have the physical energy it requires. Look at your daily life, are you exercising enough, are you eating well, drinking enough water, and getting enough sleep? If you’re eating junk, not getting adequate sleep, not drinking enough water, and can’t remember the last time you exercised, you won’t have the energy to make changes in your life. You’ll need to make changes here to see results in all aspects of your life.
For example, if you are not getting 8 hours of sleep a night, make it a priority to do so. This gives your body enough time to cycle through the different stages of sleep.
Trying to drink at least 64 ounces of water daily helps to improve digestion, helps with mental clarity, and supports your overall well-being. Getting regular exercise also helps to improve your overall well-being by giving you the energy to tackle challenges, by strengthening your body and mind. At minimum, try incorporating 3 days of exercise weekly for 30 minutes and experience the difference your body feels.
Eating food packed with protein and avoiding processed foods can help you focus better and stabilize your energy.
Mental Aspect of Remarkablism ™
How do you push yourself to grow and adapt while focusing on being creative? Consider this as you work to practice Remarkablism ™.
Remarkablism ™ in the Work-Life Culture
When we talk about practicing Remarkablism ™ in the work-life culture, it can be a difficult pill to swallow. Practicing Remarkablism ™ and living a harmonious life at work and home can be challenging in a culture that values material possessions and wealth as levels of success.
But, when we begin to see that success is measured by our personal growth, not material items, practicing Remarkablism ™ in the workplace and at home can become easier, but it doesn’t happen overnight.
For example, it can be difficult to turn down an overtime shift to attend a family event because it means you may earn less than your co-worker. You may feel like you’re less successful because of this. But attending that family function would help to make you a happier person and help to create a harmonious balance in your life. So, perhaps you bring your “A-game” to work daily, and be the most productive you can be, which can result in more opportunities so that you can utilize your “off” time and enjoy it to its fullest. This can help to achieve the work-life harmony that is so important when learning to practice Remarkablism ™.
Core Values of Remarkablism ™ in the Work-Life Culture
When we talk about Remarkablism ™ in the work-life culture at Turnkey Processing, there are seven core values that it encompasses:
Provide Remarkable Service
Work as a Team
Always be Learning
Find a Way to Win
Take Ownership
Leave Your Egos at the Door
Have Fun!
We not only incorporate these core values in our daily exchanges at Turnkey Processing, but we also utilize these in our interactions with others who are seeking growth and improvement advice within themselves and their organizations. We help our clients realize these values when they work with us and help them to incorporate them into their business model.
How to Practice Remarkablism ™
Considering the core values of Remarkablism ™, you can see that practicing Remarkablism ™ is not always easy because it forces us out of our comfort zone. Anything that forces us to change can be uncomfortable. But, once you learn how to do it, see its benefits and and how much better you feel, you’ll wonder what took you so long!
Decide to Change
To achieve Remarkablism ™, you have to focus on making a conscious decision to improve and stand out. This is not always easy, but it can be done. Just ask those who are experiencing it right now!
When you have a growth mindset, the possibilities are endless. Instead of settling for the status quo, look for ways to improve yourself, your workplace, and your community. When you open yourself to change, you’ll be amazed at what you can achieve.
You can’t grow if you’re not willing to learn. Be curious, ask for feedback, read, and reflect deeply. This will not only allow you to learn, but as a result, grow as a person to become your best self. If you are closed to change, it’s going to be impossible to reach Remarkablism ™.
Be a Problem Solver
Many times, obstacles are opportunities in disguise. By viewing them this way, you’ll discover ways to overcome them. When presented with a problem at work, look at it as a challenge rather than an annoying obstacle. Be creative and adapt to changes while doing it all with integrity. This may mean taking risks and stepping out of your comfort zone. But, isn’t that what Remarkablism ™ is all about? Have a vision, set goals, and see how far they can take you. This will help you realize your problem-solving skills.
