Why are these core values important to us? We combine them with our unique spirit to work towards Remarkablism ™. This phrase was coined by our founder and focuses on being the best person you can be. But, Remarkablism ™ doesn’t happen overnight. It’s a process that takes time. It’s a never-ending cycle of self-discovery and purposeful growth. As we’ve been telling you in our blog series, each core value has a unique importance at Turnkey. Now, it’s time to focus on core value #4: Find a Way to Win.
Find a Way to Win
When we talk about finding a way to win as a core value, we are talking about ways to be creative with resources. We learn how to adapt to overcome challenges while maintaining integrity. This takes time and practice. As you look for ways to win, you also learn how to be creative with resources and to think out of the box. Stay positive and see obstacles as a way to grow. Adapt your processes to find the way to win. When you do this, you’ll be surprised at the results.
Be Resourceful
This is the first building block to finding a way to win. When we’re being resourceful, we’re always finding ways to win. Look at how you would use them differently to find a path to success. There are many ways to be resourceful. There are online resources, AI, and different forums where you can learn how to solve the problem you want to solve. There are plenty of resources at your fingertips. Look to see what opportunities are available to help you leverage a problem.
Figure Out How it Can Be Done
It’s easy to find out how things can’t be done. But, if you want to achieve Remarkablism ™, you’ll look for ways of how things can be done. Figuring out how things can be done will help you find a way to win. You’ll be able to turn lemons into lemonade. All problems can be solved; it’s just a case of time management and resources.
Every Rule Has an Exception
This core value fundamental can be controversial. Life is not a cookie-cutter; there are always exceptions to the rule. Some people don’t realize that every rule has an exception. In order to win, you need to see this and look for the exceptions. What are some exceptions that you’ve made that have resulted in a good outcome? What are situations where you didn’t make an exception, and the result was not as good as it should have been? Thinking about the answers to these questions can help you with this core value.
Maintain a Positive Mental Attitude
This fundamental focuses on rewiring your mindset about challenges that happen in your life. If you’re chasing a perfect life, you’re never going to be satisfied. By embracing the parts that are not picture-perfect, you can start to be happy and accept things the way they are. When something bad happens in life, you can choose to be unhappy and to be the victim of the story, or you can choose to accept it as part of your destiny. You can use this to become a better version of yourself as you look for ways to turn the problem around. Embracing adversity can lead to our happiness. When faced with an obstacle, you can acknowledge that it has happened and that it is unfortunate. Then, you can look for ways to overcome it. This is how we grow and how we win.
By putting these fundamentals into practice, you can work to achieve our core value #4, find a way to win. The way we look at situations and people plays a big role in this. Looking for ways to be resourceful is key, as well as always maintaining a positive mental attitude. Discover different ways to get things done, and you will always discover new ways of doing things. Accepting that every rule has an exception will allow you to be open to new ideas and find new ways to win.
